Governor Seyi Makinde has announced that the pupils and teachers rescued after a security incident in Oyo State will remain under medical observation for 48 hours as a precautionary measure.

According to the governor, the medical observation is intended to ensure that everyone involved receives proper health assessments and any necessary treatment before being reunited with their families or returning to their normal activities.

Makinde said the rescued individuals are currently receiving medical care from healthcare professionals, who will monitor their physical and emotional well-being throughout the observation period.

The governor expressed gratitude to security agencies, emergency responders, and all those involved in the rescue operation, commending their swift response and coordinated efforts that led to the safe recovery of the victims.
