Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, moving a step closer to securing one of Europe's most highly rated young attackers ahead of the new season.

According to multiple reports, the 23-year-old France international has held positive discussions with Liverpool's new head coach Andoni Iraola and club officials, expressing his desire to join the Premier League champions. However, while the player is said to be open to the move, negotiations between Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain over a transfer fee remain ongoing.

Barcola Prefers Liverpool Move

Reports indicate that Barcola has informed PSG he is not interested in extending his current contract, which runs until 2028, as he seeks a new challenge in English football.

The winger is believed to have been impressed by Iraola's plans for Liverpool and views a move to Anfield as an opportunity to establish himself as a regular starter after finding consistent first-team opportunities harder to secure in Paris during the latter part of last season.

Barcola enjoyed another productive campaign with the French champions but often faced fierce competition for attacking places in a squad packed with world-class talent.

PSG Hold Firm on Valuation

Despite the reported agreement between Liverpool and the player, completing the transfer is expected to prove challenging.

PSG are understood to value Barcola at more than €120 million, with some reports suggesting the French club could demand as much as £140–145 million before agreeing to sell one of their most valuable attacking assets. Liverpool are believed to consider that valuation excessive and are expected to continue negotiations in an attempt to reach a compromise.

The Merseyside club remain active in the transfer market as Iraola reshapes the squad ahead of the 2026–27 campaign.

Liverpool have prioritised strengthening their attacking options, with Barcola viewed as one of Europe's brightest young wingers thanks to his pace, dribbling ability and versatility across the front line.
