Yemen's Houthi movement has accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out airstrikes on Sanaa International Airport, warning that it will respond to what it described as an act of aggression.

According to Houthi officials, the alleged strike targeted facilities at the airport in the Yemeni capital, causing damage and disrupting operations. The group claimed the attack was part of a broader escalation amid rising military tensions across the Middle East.

The Houthis vowed retaliation, saying they reserve the right to respond to any military action targeting Yemeni territory. The group did not immediately provide detailed information on casualties or the extent of the damage.

Saudi authorities have not publicly confirmed responsibility for the reported strike. Independent verification of the Houthi claims has not yet been possible, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.

The latest allegations come as regional security concerns continue to grow following increased military exchanges involving Iran, the United States and allied forces across the Gulf and surrounding areas.

Analysts warn that any further escalation involving Yemen could increase risks to regional stability, international shipping routes and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing conflict in the Middle East.

Authorities are expected to provide further updates as more information becomes available and investigations into the reported incident continue.
