More Wildberries Facilities Hit as Ukrainian Drone Attacks Continue Across Russia

Fresh Strikes Target Russia's Largest Online Retailer, Disrupting Operations and Injuring Several People                 

                           

Additional facilities belonging to Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer, have been struck in a fresh wave of Ukrainian drone attacks, marking the second time in days that the company's logistics network has come under fire amid the ongoing war.

According to Russian officials and Wildberries co-founder Tatyana Kim, drone attacks targeted company warehouses in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk, triggering fires, damaging infrastructure and injuring several people. Emergency services were deployed to contain the blazes, while operations at the affected facilities were temporarily disrupted.

The latest attacks follow earlier strikes on Wildberries logistics hubs in Kotovsk and Elektrostal, which killed workers, injured dozens of people and caused significant damage to warehouse operations. Russian authorities have acknowledged that the attacks resulted in substantial losses for the company.

Wildberries, one of Russia's largest e-commerce companies, serves millions of customers and hosts more than one million independent merchants. The company has said it is working to restore affected facilities and resume normal operations as quickly as possible.

Ukraine has increasingly used long-range drones to strike targets deep inside Russian territory, saying it is targeting infrastructure that supports Russia's military capabilities. Kyiv has previously alleged that some logistics facilities were involved in handling sanctioned goods or components linked to Russia's defence sector, while the Kremlin has denied that Wildberries supplies the military.

The renewed attacks underscore the expanding reach of Ukraine's drone campaign and its growing impact on Russia's commercial infrastructure. Analysts say repeated strikes on major logistics hubs could disrupt supply chains, affect thousands of businesses that rely on online marketplaces and increase economic pressure inside Russia.

Russian authorities said emergency responders remained at the affected sites assessing the damage and ensuring the safety of workers. Meanwhile, air defence systems were activated in several regions as officials reported intercepting additional drones during the overnight attacks.

The latest exchange of strikes highlights the continuing escalation of the conflict, with both Russia and Ukraine intensifying long-range attacks while diplomatic efforts to end the war remain stalled.
