NBA Insists There Is No Going Back on Saturday Election

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has declared that there will be no postponement or reversal of its scheduled Saturday national election, affirming that all preparations have been concluded for members to elect new national officers.

The association's leadership made the position known amid speculation and calls from some members for the election to be delayed over concerns relating to the electoral process. However, the NBA maintained that the election would proceed as planned in accordance with its constitution and approved electoral timetable.
