Veteran Nollywood actors Yinka Quadri and Jide Kosoko have arrived in Ilaro, Ogun State, for the burial of their late colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
Family members, friends, colleagues and well-wishers have gathered in the town to pay their final respects to the Yoruba film icon, who died on Sunday at the age of 66.
The laying-in-state ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Pavilion in Ilaro, followed by Muslim burial prayers at the Asade Agunloye Pavilion Ground.
Ogogo, whose career spanned more than four decades, was one of the most recognisable figures in Yoruba-language Nollywood.
