Turkish Champions Keep Portugal Star in Their Sights
Galatasaray remain interested in AC Milan forward Rafael Leão as the Turkish champions continue to explore options for their attack.
Leão has been strongly linked with a move to Istanbul, with Galatasaray reportedly preparing improved proposals after an initial offer was rejected by Milan. The Italian club are understood to value the Portugal international at around €50 million or more.
The 27-year-old has also attracted interest from clubs in England and elsewhere in Europe, but no agreement has been reached with Galatasaray.
Leão recently pushed back against transfer speculation, saying that only his family and lawyers are authorised to represent his professional interests.
Galatasaray have reportedly considered Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli as an alternative should they fail to land Leão.
For now, Leão remains firmly on Galatasaray's shortlist, but the Turkish club will need to satisfy Milan's valuation and convince the player before the move can happen.
