President Bola Tinubu has constituted the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 election, with former Zamfara Governor Abdulaziz Yari appointed as Director-General.

Tinubu will serve as chairman of the council, while Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda will serve as vice chairmen.
Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma was named secretary, while Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas and Yobe Governor Mai Mala Buni were appointed deputy directors-general.
The campaign structure brings together senior APC figures responsible for mobilisation, election planning, coordination, legal affairs and media.
Yari, a former governor and serving senator from Zamfara, will now oversee the party's presidential campaign as the APC prepares for the 2027 contest.
Tinubu has charged the council to work together to secure victory for the APC in the 2027 presidential election.
