Drone Strikes Escalate as Both Sides Hit Strategic Facilities 
Ukraine and Russia have stepped up aerial attacks against each other’s infrastructure, with drones targeting ports, energy facilities and other strategic sites as the war enters another intense phase.
Russian strikes have continued to hit Ukrainian cities and infrastructure, including Odesa, where attacks have damaged port and power facilities. Ukrainian authorities say the strikes are putting pressure on vital agricultural export routes.
Ukraine, meanwhile, has intensified its long-range drone campaign against Russian infrastructure, including oil facilities and logistics sites. Recent attacks have disrupted operations at Russian energy facilities and caused damage well behind the front lines.
The escalating strikes are affecting more than military targets. Power supplies, fuel availability, transport and food exports are increasingly caught up in the conflict, raising concerns for civilians and international markets.
Ukraine has also proposed a mutual halt to attacks on civilian shipping in the Black Sea, amid fears that continued strikes could further disrupt grain exports and worsen global food-security concerns.
For people living on both sides of the conflict, the expanding aerial campaign means more damaged infrastructure, greater security risks and continued uncertainty over when the war might end.
