FMC Medical Director loses two daughters, doctor and pharmacist

Dr. Hadiza Usman, the Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Nguru, Yobe State, is mourning the loss of her two daughters, Dr. Hadiya and Pharm. Aida.

The deaths were announced publicly on October 4, 2026, by Fatima Kagu, a microbiologist who shared a condolence message on Facebook. The announcement prompted an outpouring of sympathy and prayers for the bereaved family.

According to the report, Hadiya was a medical doctor, while Aida was a pharmacist. Both were daughters of Dr. Hadiza Usman, who heads FMC Nguru, a federal government hospital serving communities in Yobe State and surrounding areas.

Kagu expressed condolences to the family and prayed for the deceased to be granted mercy and eternal rest. She also prayed for strength and patience for their mother and other members of the family during the difficult period.
