Authorities Launch Rescue Operation as Gunmen Attack Convoy in Northwest Nigeria 
The chairman of a local government area in Zamfara State has reportedly been abducted by armed bandits after an attack on his convoy that left four security personnel dead, according to local authorities and security sources.
