Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi have jointly emphasised the need for responsible leadership, transparency and accountability as essential ingredients for Nigeria's development.
Speaking at a public event attended by political leaders, professionals and civil society representatives, both men urged public office holders to place the welfare of citizens above personal or partisan interests, arguing that good governance remains the foundation for sustainable national progress.
