Norris Wins Dutch GP as Antonelli Extends F1 Championship Lead

Lando Norris claimed a second consecutive Formula 1 victory by winning the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, while Mercedes teenager Kimi Antonelli finished second to strengthen his grip on the championship.                                                                                                                                                       

            

Norris recovered the lead after Antonelli passed him at the restart and eventually made the decisive move in the closing stages. George Russell finished third, completing the podium for Mercedes.

The race was dramatically interrupted on the opening lap when home favourite Max Verstappen crashed out, although he was unharmed.

Antonelli's second-place finish means he now leads the championship by 59 points, with 242 points overall. Norris has also moved up to fourth after his latest victory.

For Norris, it was another statement victory. For Antonelli, the result further strengthens his position as the man to beat in the 2026 title race.
