Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has said he believes the truth will eventually emerge in his ongoing dispute with fellow rapper Blaqbonez.
Odumodublvck made the comments during an episode of the In Motion Podcast, which was shared on YouTube on Friday. The two artists were previously friends and collaborators before their relationship deteriorated into a public dispute.
The disagreement has involved conflicting accounts about their relationship, a woman linked to the dispute, allegations of harassment and sexual abuse, and legal threats. Blaqbonez has denied the sexual-abuse allegations and challenged Odumodublvck to prove them in court.
During the podcast, Odumodublvck accused Blaqbonez of giving inconsistent accounts about their relationship. He questioned Blaqbonez's claim that they were not friends, pointing to their history of working together and appearing at each other's events.
The two rappers previously collaborated on several songs, including “Dollers,” “Tesla Boy” and “Technician,” before their relationship broke down. Their feud has since moved beyond music and played out publicly on social media.
Odumodublvck also repeated allegations concerning sexual abuse involving Blaqbonez. He said he believed the allegations were supported by evidence, but did not provide that evidence during the podcast. Blaqbonez has consistently denied the allegations, making clear that they remain disputed claims rather than established findings.
The dispute has also involved legal action. In July, Blaqbonez's lawyers issued a pre-action notice seeking N2.55 billion in damages over statements attributed to Odumodublvck, describing the allegations as defamatory.
Odumodublvck further discussed an earlier police matter involving Blaqbonez, questioning the rapper's account of the incident. His comments about what happened at the police station are also part of his account of the dispute and have not been established as facts by a court.
Despite the continuing disagreement, Odumodublvck said he believes the matter will ultimately be resolved through the truth becoming known.
“At the right time, justice will prevail,” he said.
The dispute remains unresolved, with both sides maintaining different accounts of the events that led to the breakdown of their former friendship.
