Rapper Ye Set for Two Shows at St Petersburg’s Gazprom Arena 
American rapper Kanye West, also known as Ye, is scheduled to perform in Russia in October, according to an announcement from the Gazprom Arena, the venue hosting the shows.
The concerts are scheduled for October 10 and 11 at Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg, which can accommodate about 70,000 spectators. Ticket prices reportedly range from 9,000 to 160,000 roubles, with the cheapest tickets selling out within an hour.
If the performances go ahead, they would make West one of the most prominent Western music stars to perform in Russia since Moscow's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
The announcement also comes after West faced cancellations and performance bans in several European countries following controversial antisemitic remarks and the use of Nazi imagery. He apologised earlier this year.
West previously visited Moscow in 2024 but has never performed a solo concert in Russia.
