Imumolen Withdraws Support for Adeleke Ahead of Saturday’s Election 
The factional National Chairman of the Accord Party, Prof. Christopher Imumolen, has endorsed the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of the Osun State election.
Imumolen announced the decision on Thursday at the APC mega rally in Osun, saying his faction had withdrawn its support for incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke and would back Oyebamiji.
He also urged Accord supporters in the state to vote for Oyebamiji when voters go to the polls on Saturday, August 15.
The endorsement comes just days before the election and adds another twist to a closely contested race involving Adeleke, Oyebamiji and other candidates.
For voters, the latest political realignment could influence the strength of the competing campaigns as parties make their final push for support.
