Osun Poll: Senate Leader Urges APC’s Oyebamiji to Congratulate Adeleke

Bamidele Calls for Unity After Governor’s Re-election                                                         

                   

Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, to congratulate Governor Ademola Adeleke following his victory in the Osun State governorship election.

Adeleke was declared the winner after polling 511,067 votes, defeating Oyebamiji, who scored 444,815 votes. ADC candidate Najeem Salam came third with 17,180 votes.

Bamidele said the outcome demonstrated the power of voters in a democracy and urged all candidates to respect the decision of the electorate.

He also called on Oyebamiji to engage Adeleke constructively by sharing policy ideas that could help improve governance in Osun.

The Senate leader further urged Adeleke to reach across political lines and work toward uniting the state after a competitive election.

For Osun residents, the message comes at an important moment as political campaigns give way to the challenge of governance and rebuilding trust across party divisions.
